Hot Wheels: Williams F1 Team Driver (2002) - Every PC F1 Game

Hot Wheels: Williams F1 Team Driver by KnowWonder/THQ, 2002. Also known as Hot Wheels: Williams F1 Team Racer. This is a lightweight arcade-ish racing game, where you can race go-karts, Formula 1600cc, Formula 3 and Williams F1 cars. It notably came with a small Hot Wheels Williams F1 toy car! 1. Race Start (Monza): 0:00 Here I'm running with the wing mirrors turned off, as they make the frame rate really slow and jerky on a modern PC. I'm using the Nurburgring track, as the game doesn't have Monza (it does have San Marino, but the frame rate on that wasn't as smooth). 2. Spray Effects (Silverstone): 0:27 There's reasonable spray effects in this game (driving behind other cars you can hardly see anything!), however, there's no TV camera, so I parked the car and flipped round the onboard left/rear/right cameras instead, to create my own TV footage! 3. Tunnel & View (Monaco): 0:44 Monaco isn't in this game, so I've used Magny-Cours in France, as it has a tunnel (which it doesn't have in real-life of course!). The tracks in this game are a bit hand-crafted and not very realistic! 4. Wet Track (Spa-Francorchamps): 1:00 Rain effects here are minimal, mostly fog. There's a flock of birds over Eau Rouge (you can just see them on the right)! 5. Pitstop (Interlagos): 1:18 This is the Interlagos track, but, despite you gaining damage (at some tracks only, it seems), you can't actually get into the pits to fix it! So I park for a short while instead... 6. Huge Crash (Montreal): 1:28 This game has no TV camera view. Damage to wings is possible, but it only seems to happen on some tracks, as no damage happens here. In most accidents, your car ends up worse that the computer controlled cars!
