The Games: Winter Challenge - Downhill ( 1:27

Kind of feels strange that this run ended up being so fast; since nearly every part of it can be called good but not perfect. Start was clean, but getting a lucky line at 15s could have saved a few tenths. The jump after the first skilift was clean, but again I didn't get the optimal line (with less slowdown and airtime). The turn at 44s was good (and really made this run a contender), but again no airtime would have been optimal (would have required insane luck though). Hairpin at 58s was very good, after that I think it was my best pace ever or tied for it. Finished a bit wider than intended, but it was still fast. Clearly there is room for improvement, but just getting another PB cut after 1:27.68 took me something like 13 hours and 1000 attempts... tempted to leave it here, my hands are very tired.
