Full game longplay of Frater, or Chosen: The Well of Souls, a 2006 hack & slash RPG game, developed by Rebelmind, Polish dev studio behind Space Hack from 2004. Here played using dgVoodoo, at 3840x2160 resolution, 4x MSAA, highest possible details. Recorded at 4K60 H.265 NVENC via OBS codec. Main Story walkthrough, as in if there was something optional/side quest to do, then I'd just avoid it/do it only if it's exactly on my way. Without grinding the xp points, and without exterminating ALL the hordes of monsters on each map, there just isn't enough xp to be "competitive" in the medium-late game, so I had to take "the shortcuts" I usually do, just so I didn't have to grind thousands of mobs for 5 hours on my recording. This time my shortcuts were fucking extreme. I had to cheat console my damage, to multiply it to 8x. FUCKING 8 TIMES THE NORMAL DAMAGE. Just so I do ANY damage to the mobs in the early medium game, and so they died faster than 2 straight minutes per every mob, 1 hit per second. Did I mention the thousands mobs I would probably have to kill to level up? xD Do you understand me? Not 2x the damage multiplier. I had to put it at EIGHT TIMES in the late game. Pretty insane to be honest. And the game has no difficulty level. What the freaking, flying fuck is this supposed to be? xD The Chosen: Well Of Souls is an action role-playing game (RPG) in a dark period of the 19th century. The story revolves around 3 characters: Frater Simon, Elena, and Tong Wong (respectively mage, thief, and warrior), who are members of the Mystery Guards Fraternities, organizations devoted to exterminating demons and dark forces. They are now after an immortal sorcerer, Marcus Dominus Ingens, who commands armies of demons, summoned with the souls of alchemists and is bent on destroying God's Envoy, a powerful being who appears every 200 years.
