Game rules: 1. Timing of the run starts when you click button "Back" when show first dialog window before Budo get first task in "Greyback journey" campaing and ends with the death of Yvaine in the last level/the start of the cutscene which is triggered by Yvaine death. 2. Saving/Loading is allowed for fix issue or fast reset level if you faild level, but you can't use all ready prepared save files (I do mistake with that and start deleting all save files when run start). 3. No difficulty changes and game speed during the run. The categories would be 'easy', 'normal, 'hard' and furthermore differentiated by the choice of the clan. So it is self evident why changing the difficulty or game speed would make a run illegitimate. Custom game speed is prohibited, only in game option speed use!!! 4. Use macros or cheats would make a run illegitimate. 5. Certain parts of the screen may not be fully covered by your overlays. Transparent overlays can be okay if the element behind it is still clearly visible. In order to show that you actually use the specified difficulty and game speed you show your game settings at the start and/or end of the run. Me on Speedrun.com:
