Space Elite Force 2 in 1 - 100% Trophies Playthrough in 110 Minutes

Both games involve killing enemies for currency, which you use to upgrade your ships, which makes later stages easier. There are also branching upgrade paths. Space Elite Force (SEF) 1 has a basic shot and missile you can upgrade, while SEF 2 has both plus a special weapon. The platinum involves maxing out your health and defenses, upgrading all weapon paths to the max level in both games (doesn't need to be in the same playthrough), as well as completing the regular campaign for both games on the hardest difficulty, which isn't really that much harder than the standard difficulty, as all it does is halve your initial health, which can be upgraded. You also need to do SEF 2's boss rush, which may need to be repeated a few times as it's a quick way to get upgrade materials for the upgrading trophies. Other than that, the rest of the trophies are straightforward and will be acquired as you play the game. For SEF 1, I recommend maxing out the homing missiles ASAP to breeze through the game. For SEF 2, I also recommend maxing the homing missiles, and getting the super laser (don't need to upgrade it, as it will be fully recharged by the time you reach the boss) to absolutely destroy bosses. For the SEF 2 Boss Rush, I recommend a fully upgraded super laser and laser drone to demolish bosses fast. You can also hold off upgrading the super laser until you've used it once, as upgrading it will reset its cooldown (which is really long and why laser drones is recommended as a secondary weapon) so you can immediately use it again. SEF 1 will probably require at least a 2nd playthrough to unlock all the upgrades. I ended up hoarding my resources in normal difficulty, then saving at the 2nd to last stage, backing up that save, and replayed that stage to dump all my money towards two upgrade paths, then restored my save and did it again until all upgrade trophies were acquired. I wouldn't recommend doing that for SEF 2 as the stages tend to be longer than SEF 1, plus boss rush gave resources at a fast enough rate. 0:00 - Start 0:30 - Start SEF 2 Elite difficulty 54:55 - Start SEF 2 Boss Rush and farming for upgrades 1:16:30 - Start SEF 1 Hardcore difficulty 1:30:46 - SEF 1 Upgrades farming
