Ken Griffey Jr. Presents Major League Baseball (SNES)
Brought it back to baseball for a bit with the first Ken Griffey game. Growing up I actually had the gameboy version and not snes so this was refreshing to see the full version as it were. I absolutely love the goofy reference names that this game assigns to players (i guess the mlbpa didnt sign off on likeness rights) so watch as I strike out Elvis Costello and Sid vicious. I think the Rockies even have Bella Lugosi, Christopher Lee, and a few other interesting references. It's worth looking at every team's roster just to see how many you can spot. It's easy enough to pick up and play but I found it to be quite challenging still. I never was super sure who I was in control of instantly off a hit. Control is a bit slippery too so it led to me accidentally skirting around a few ground balls with really cost me in the long run. Still, fun game and I'm glad there's an option for music during the game since without commentary it would get rather dull.
