Coming fresh from Volume 2, it is time to see how this entire Corona Blossom trilogy comes to an end. Keiji remembers the times when Kanade served as his counselor. Kanade served as his support after his parents passed away in a laboratory accident. However, that dream shattered once Kanade revealed her true form at the end of Volume 2. In present times, Kanade is excited about the opportunity she discovered with R-ne given that she's made of fractalium. With this metal, Kanade can create a perfect cure-all device that will solve all world problems (similar to the CATS device from Volume 2). However, Kanade's plan involves erasing everyone's memories. By forgetting the past, Kanade believes everyone won't feel depressed. Despite such claims, Keiji objects and argues that his memories are worth keeping such as passing of his parents. Kanade refuses to listen and has everyone restrained by the underling robots, forcing everyone to comply. "Resistance is futile." As a present, Kanade also tests her plan on Keiji with a lethal injection of the cat spell. Keiji objects more, but Kanade assures Keiji that everything will soon be over. Suddenly, a large earthquake breaks out. It turns out R-ne summoned a VORKS to aid rescue. While everyone else including Keiji escape, Kanade orders the robots not to let them take R-ne. In the end, everyone is safe as R-ne telepathically catapults the VORKS to safe spot. However, R-ne herself is still held captive inside the spaceship.
