C64 Longplay: Krakout

(no scrolling background version:    • C64 Longplay: Krakout (no scrolling backgr...  ) All 100 levels of this Breakout clone. Well, I did skip some of them, without cheating. Save states used. No need for a lives hack as you get an extra one every 10,000 points. I made the mistake of choosing "Scrolling Follow" on the options screen, totally frazzling my eyes and making it harder to concentrate. A totally screwball thing happened on Level 30. I got paralysed by one of those fucking wasps, but through some rare stroke of luck, I got the powerup for the extra wall and just sat back and watched the ball do all the work. At 2:11:13, I show short clips of the game with sound effects and using the other nine Modes (two of which don't seem to work). BONUSES ARE G Glue: The Ball sticks to the bat. B Bomb: There is a massive explosion destroying adjacent blocks. S Shield: Makes a barrier appear behind you. M Missile: Gives you one missile to fire. Bat Slow down: Slows the ball down slightly. x2 Times two: Doubles scoring. D Double bat: Gives you another bat in front of your present bat. This gives some protection against Aliens. X Extra man: Gives you an extra live. E Expand: Makes your bat expand. Released in 1987 by Gremlin Graphics Software and created by Andy Green, Rob Toone, Terry Lloyd, Ben Daglish, and lodger Shrigley (?)
