Nintendo DS : Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! DS Fate of Heat III - Yuki no Shugosha Raishuu! (JPN)

Katekyoo Hitman Reborn! DS Fate of Heat III: Yuki no Shugosha Raishuu! (家庭教師ヒットマンリボーン！DSフェイトオブヒートIII雪の守護者来襲!) is a simulation/RPG that developed and published by Takara Tomy back in 2010, exclusively for the Nintendo DS handheld system and the Japanese market. It is based on the anime : Katekyo Hitman Reborn! but doesn't follow it's storyline. Tsuna (main hero) defeats Basil in a fight and later gets owned by the one introducing himself as the "Vongola Snow Guardian", Gelaro from the Bertesco family. After that, you travel to the Catafalco island, where you must gathervinfos on the mysterious Bertesco family. Hitman Reborn! 3 is a 3D RPG with strong simulation gameplay elements and a turn based battle system which utilizes cards to perform actions. Speaking about the cards, they represent the attacks or skills that you will be able to perform when you get into a battle. A few of them can be shared between a certain amount of characters, while most of them can only be used by one specific character. The character's specific cards can only be bought at the Vongola's Hideouts in the villages where that character debuted. The game is not that bad but the lack of "personality" and originality makes it feel like a lackluster experience. It's not an import friendly game.
