Hello and welcome back to Lord Fenton Gaming plays Ultima V Warriors of Destiny. I am your host Lord Fenton In this part of Ultima V walkthrough let's play video, I am going to the Lycaeum. I am getting some important information and get Mariah to join the party in this Ultima 5 video. After all that it is time to loot the treasure room of Lord British than get the Avatar to level 6. Note: I am playing the original MS-DOS version of the game. The version is from GoG. This time around I am using Pix's Ultima Patcher. I cannot link it here since YouTube hates links from other websites like it. Instead just google Pix's Ultima Patcher. It will help with the issues the Good Old Game Version had with character transfer from Ultima IV, adds music from the Apple version and plus any other fixes. So basically this video will be full of information. Welcome to the Lycaeum - 0:41 Lord Shalineth and the Shadowlord of Falsehood name - 1:28 Lady Janell and location of the Shrine of Spirituality location - 2:41 Exploring more of the Lycaeum - 3:39 Rations shop - 4:54 Much more exploring - 5:12 Rollo - 6:05 Yes I am looking for loot at this point - 7:07 Sir Sean and the Flame of Truth - 8:20 Mariah joins the party - 9:28 It is time to leave - 11:45 On the way out the Reagents shop - 12:18 To the Moongate and fast - 13:00 Note: The left crescent moon aka number 2 on the moongate chart is the town of Britain you can go to. Just remember to time the moongates on where to go or rest a lot until you get the desire one. Next stop is Britain - 13:30 To the castle - 13:44 Lord British's Treasure Room (Snatch and run everyone) - 14:30 Time to exit the castle - 16:57 Note: Here is how this method works. You need skull keys and high karma in case things goes south during the karma farming stage (Aka getting to Minoc). First get into castle and go into the basement. After that use a skull key to open the door. Open all three or more chests inside. You will get -2 karma per chest being open. It is worth it since the loot is really nice to sell or keep. After you clean up the treasure room than leave the castle. Repeat if you need more loot. When you do need karma go to Minoc and talk to the beggar there. You get +1 karma each time. Take 20-30 steps to be allow to get that karma again. After that repeat for the treasure room UNTIL you get what you need.
