Amiga Longplay Jetsons: The Computer Game

Played by: Ironclaw Release date: 1992 Arghh, what a frustrating game! Took me many hours to make this longplay (6+ or something). I don't ever wanna play or see this game again :P And what's up with the bright colors? Only the top and bottom parts looks ok + George on the "WELL DONE" screens. I could have fixed it if everything was too bright, but just some parts are so it's more difficult and I won't bother. Also, what's up with the scoring? Lame they have room for 5 digits, yet if you get over 9999, weird stuff happens and it doesn't continue past 9999. At 15:32 I pass 9999 and it jumps back down to 5050. Then at 22:47 when I've gotten all the way back up and is about to pass 9999 again, it jumps down to 9550. At 24:13 I once again pass 9999 and it resets back to 0. Another bug is if Judy jumps off the golf course, she will fall and land in one of the elevators and get stuck with some weird levitating effect. All these Hanna-Barbera games I've played have had several bugs. I didn't mention any in my Yogi and Scooby Doo longplays, maybe I should have just for fun :P If you see me just stop for a sec all of a sudden, it's because I touched something and it made me stop (eventhough it really shouldn't) and only way to continue to move in the direction I was going is to release all controls and press just one direction (sometimes not even that worked, I had to wiggle the controller and stuff). It was a pain to maneuver around things, bad collision detection. It might look smooth in this video, but I redid stuff tons of times and used a many save states. On the spaceship levels when I move slowly, it's either because I need to move carefully to not hit stuff OR because I just passed two lights which means the zone is a speed limit zone. If I drove fast, the cop would come and take my money. It seems like most, if not ALL of the Hanna-Barbera games on the Amiga have music (usually just one ingame tune played on all levels) and sound effects, but you can never have both at the same time, you have to choose - sfx or music. This time I chose sfx and added the music afterwards instead. I usually don't try go collect or do everything in my longplays as it's boring and takes much more time than just doing what's needed to complete the game. But this time I forced myself :P. Only two things I didn't do (as far as I know): use the radio/remote controller thingy on level 1 and picking up the money at 26:34, because I didn't know how to do those two things. I could probably figure out what the remote controller thingy is for if I tried it everywhere, but bleh. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
