King's Quest IV: The Perils of Rosella - 100% Speedrun ( 27:32

I felt really good about this run. The power of the King Graham shirt shines through yet again. Recorded using UrQuan's ScummVM. A little bit of weird movement and typos here and there, and I've been running into some issues with grave-digging positioning. There's also a weird chasm death, just to keep it spicy. I also forgot for a second to lock the crypt door before heading to Genesta's Island. But, there's some really good RNG, especially with the minstrel, Pan, and the whale. Lastly, I've been playing on (what the game says is) Version 1.000.111. Based on my research, is this is an outdated version, which features significantly slower movement. I haven't been able to find a reliable download for the updated versions of the game to speed things up, so I'm stuck with this one for now. But, I'm hopeful this translates to a solid based when I do find that updated version. I should also note that I did have a faster run later this night. However, that run has a few crashes, which I think are the result of some music coding errors. I don't know if the crash-having runs will be accepted, so I'm uploading both. Thanks for watching!
