Dragon View Longplay (1/2)

Hello there, and welcome to a longplay of the game Dragon View for the SNES. This one took a little longer than I thought so it is broken into 2 parts. This is part 1 of 2. Dragon view is the sequel to Drakkhen. This game takes place some time after the first, and follows our new hero on a quest to save the girl and stop evil. #dragonview #snes #longplay This is the point where I like to talk a little about why I like this game. As per usual if you have a story about why you like this game please leave it in the comments below. I would love to read about it. We are in a unique situation with how I can talk about the games I love when the video is two parts or more. The first video I will talk about my impressions of the game and what I liked about it. In the second ill talk about the game in a "review" light. The first thing I would like to mention is that this game is absolutely amazing. There were a few reviews I had seen before playing this game, which is what interested me in the game in the first place. I think the first video I saw about it was SNES Drunk's video reviewing it (link below) and I was blown away because I had no idea that Drakkhen had a sequel. And beyond that, I had no idea it would be this good. Let me take you back a little to my younger years. There were a handful of games that my Aunt and Uncle had (for some reason) and they never played these games. I guess maybe they just picked them up somewhere and never played them again. But, among those games we're some gems (or so I thought). One of them was Drakkhen. I loved walking around the world, I loved making the characters. And I was really young so I had no idea what I was doing. I love the way things talked and how you could run into a dragon and explore a castle. It was mind blowing at the time. But time moved on and I grew up and I never knew or remembered what the game was. Until one day in 2013 Game Grumps started playing this game. And then like a flood of water. All the memories came back to me. And I remembered Drakkhen. It was nice to remember that game. And it was also really nice to learn this game had a sequel. I did not use to many resources to beat this game. From the beginning I really wanted to enjoy this game front to back. I have included a map at the bottom of this text wall. This map was so helpful to me for finding everything. The in game maps are really good, but this complete one was a god send. In the next video I'll go over my thoughts and feelings on the game.
   • Is Dragon View Worth Playing Today? - SNES...   Thank you so much for watching this video and hanging out. This is one of those games that I regret not playing sooner because of how awesome it is. This is the kind of game that gives you second hand nostalgia. You may not have nostalgia from it when you were a kid. but you know it would have given you some, had you played it when you were a kid. Remember to take some time for yourself to be happy. Remember to take some time to bring yourself some joy. For me that's sitting down and playing some old video games, then watching them in the background while I work or read. For you it may be something else. Whatever it is, take some time to make yourself happy. Until we meet again. Stay safe.
