OST - Starblazers - Woman of Iscandar (Space Ship Yamato)

Space Ship Yamato, or StarBlazers in the USA, was the forerunner of all subsequent "Space Opera" anime Like Macross and Gundham. The music was composed by Hiroshi Miyagawa, who produced many soundtracks including Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster (1964). This track entitled "Woman of Iscandar", was first used in Season 1, Episode 1. Susumu Kodai (Derek Wildstar) and Daisuke Shima (Mark Venture) land on Mars to find Sasha, Princess of Iscandar, attempting to deliver plans for the wave motion engine. Extensive editing in the show makes for unusual visuals as studio the track plays in its entirety.
