Star Trek: The Next Generation - Birth of the Federation (BotF) FEDERATION Playthrough

Playthrough settings: Irregular Large Galaxy, some minor races, difficulty impossible, random events off, victory condition domination. Star Trek: Birth of the Federation (also Star Trek: The Next Generation - Birth of the Federation or way better known as just short BotF) was released in 1999. It is a 4X turn-based strategy video game developed by MicroProse and published by Hasbro Interactive where you can take control of five major civilisations of the Star Trek Universe: the Cardassian, the Federation, the Ferengi, the Klingons or the Romulans. There are also 30 minor races included in the game and with random events turned on, the Borg can make your game a totally different experience. This is the vanilla version with "spiced up" graphics (there are a lot of mods out there for the game like the Ultimate Dominian Mod where the Ferengi are replaced by the Dominion). I have been playing the game since 1999 and I have very probably crossed the 10000 hour threshold by now. Why you ask? Besides being a great game still...i have no idea. ;)
