https://www.youtube.com/@game.snippets When I was ten years old I first got introduced to the magical world of Bionicle. I loved the first generation of toys that Lego released and owned all the Toa, all the village elders and a few of the villains. But back then there was something even more magical to be found on the Bionicle website. To explain the narrative and world building they had created a flash game that went pretty much beyond any other flash game I had played. It took on the style of a point and click and felt like a Myst style game for kids. But I absolutely LOVED it when I was a kid and even now, though it might be mostly nostalgia talking, this game still got a huge smile on my face. This game in a way embodies what I loved about Bionicle when it first came out. A sense of wonder and exploration. A sense of adventure in a mysterious world with colorful and interesting inhabitants. This game was entirely free to play for anyone and it's animations are beautiful, the music is enchanting and some of the puzzles and minigames are also pretty fun. Along your journey you meet various famous characters that you might own as a toy including the different Toa. Back when I was a child I never managed to complete this game and now 20 years later I was finally able to complete this journey which felt like closure for that little young Archivist. #bionicle #lego #fullplaythrough #nocommentary
