PSX Dead Ball Zone

Support Shiryu on Patreon:   / shiryu     / shiryuvideogames   You might know that I'm a bit of a fan of dystopian future sports and "Rollerball" was subject of one of my tribute albums years ago. "Speedball 2: Brutal Deluxe" remains my all time favorite Commodore Amiga game of all time. So when RAGE announced "Dead Ball Zone" in 1998 I was quick to jump on the game and my oh my... this is simply a fantastic future sports game. Taking cues from handball, hockey and rugby, matches in "Dead Ball Zone" are often glorious affairs with players puking, getting KOed or getting killed by weapons or even the ball itself. While the game high values remain intact proving that it still remains a joy to play, I sadly seem to have forgot how to do the special moves that would surely be handy in this match against the Gladiators. Sadly I believe this game never got the attention it deserved back in the day, a real shame. I would love some sort of HD reboot treatment on this. Enjoy!
