Seirei Senshi Spriggan 1 Credit Clear (Normal Difficulty) PC Engine Longplay

Seirei Senshi Spriggan is a fantastic shoot 'em up released for the PC Engine in 1991. Developed by Naxat and Compile, it bears a lot of similarities Musha, a game they released a year earlier for the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive. This game has non-stop action, a wide variety of weapon powerups, and an excellent soundtrack. It's a true testament to what the CD-Rom add-on was capable of delivering. This was recorded using a real TurboDuo and the actual game, so there is a short pause between levels because of loading. The Duo has standard composite output, so the image isn't as sharp or colorful as it could be, and it seems YouTube had a hard time with some of the areas containing busy backgrounds.
