136: James Patterson Women's Murder Club: Twice in a Blue Moon (day 1)

Early this year, we played the fourth game in the series. Since I was too busy with work to get one of the obscure games working, and since, I had the third Women's Murder Club game languishing my hard drive, we're playing more hidden object fun! A letter about a crime arrives at the San Francisco Police Department. By the time Det. Lindsay Boxer solves the clues and arrives on the scene, the murder has already been committed. The Women's Murder Club soon figures out that the killer was imitating a murder by Jack the Ripper. And this copycat killer soon strikes again, leading the police in a sick chase as the bodies begin to pile up. A pretty enticing story so far (one would hope, since it's adapted from a long-running book series and a TV show). I of course sometimes need help from chat in finding objects, which is difficult when chat is lagging a couple of minutes behind the stream, so don't try that, Internet Connection. The comic book style cutscenes are especially well conceived and framed. That one puzzle with finding the colored CDs scattered around the office and then placing them in the right order in the case did drive me batty. What is WRONG with these messy reporters? We die to poison gas once and will continue this game next week. I'm sure using that UV light would be easier if I could see better. Broadcasted live on Twitch -- Watch live at   / purblindgamer
