Inspired by Blizzard's WarCraft and especially StarCraft, Five Nations tells the story of space-settling humans clashing with a number of alien races. The game features traditional real-time strategy gameplay with resource gathering, base building, and army management. Though set in space, Five Nations is set on a two-dimensional plane. Five Nations does not include multiplayer, but features 56 missions over five campaigns, as well as 20 skirmish maps. The game also includes a map editor for players to create their own maps.
