Have you played Biosys from 1999? Suggest something else I should play. #AbandonwareAdventures is a format where I find a good old game that is no longer for sale and play some of it. How to play #Biosys: THERE IS NOW AN INSTALLER THAT MAKES THE GAME RUN ON MODERN PCS! Otherwise, these were the original instructions: 1. Find the game online [Recently the game will install and run like normal on Windows 10. Try installing without any special setup first but if you really can't get it running continue with these more advanced steps] 2. Convert Bio_setup.img and Bio_game.img to ISO files using a converter like this:
3. Download and install VirtualBox:
4. Create a Windows 98 virtual operating system inside VirtualBox:
5. DISABLE 'Hardware Virtualization' in your Windows 98 settings under 'System' in VirtualBox, so make sure 'Enable VT-x/AMD-V' are UNCHECKED. If you don't do this movies/videos/some animations will stutter or freeze. 6. Enable 256 colors in Windows 98:
7. With Windows 98 running in VirtualBox, on the tools on the lower bar on the right, you can right click on the CD icon and 'Choose disk image'. Find your Bio_setup.iso and select that. This will directly mount the disk into Windows 98 and it will think it's a CD. 8. Install Biosys in Windows 98 9. Right click the CD icon again and 'Choose disk image' again and find your Bio_game.iso 10. Play Biosys .~ ■ Check out more stuff!
