PC Longplay [480] Astebreed

Played by: Tsunao STG by Edelweiss. Something about a war against some reality-altering...machines...or something. Follow Roy and Fio as they ride in a Gundam to fight against the machines. Oh, and there's Esto. Wait...shmup...no plot! (though, the game does give lots o' talking. Plot? In my shmup?!) Game kinda plays like Ether Vapor: 3 different attacks and an EX attack. Scoring is pretty simple, too: use shots to blow up trash for multiplier, use Sword to cash in. EX attack to also cash in on multiplier and get a bonus for more enemies destroyed with it. Shield bonus (regenerating shield/not getting hit) will give double multiplier. Game also has horizontal segments and vertical-top-down segments. This shortplay goes through Normal mode (and the Prologue, even though I could've skipped it) with default settings (using XBreed) while scoring REALLY bad. All dialogue kept intact. One achievement popped. :3 Well, I DID had a recording where I had the Stage 3 battleship achievement popped, but I tanked to the final boss, thus no 1cc. ._. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
