There's also Fray: Shugyou-hen (Fray: Training Edition) released for the Game Gear, which is an auto-scrolling vertical shooter with shop screens in between levels. Fray in Magical Adventure, which is also known as Fray: Xak Gaiden (フレイサーク外伝), takes place after the events of Xak I, but during the events of Xak II, and it ends right before Latok is heading towards the Death Mountain (Xak II).
