[COMPLETE] - Higurashi When They Cry: Chapter 2 Watanagashi - PC - Steam version with 07th-Mod

HIGURASHI PLAYLIST & READING ORDER I have uploaded the whole Higurashi series in this playlist:    • Higurashi When They Cry   MAIN STORY The main story consists of Chapters 1-8: Chapter 1: Onikakushi Chapter 2: Watanagashi Chapter 3: Tatarigoroshi Chapter 4: Himatsubishi Chapter 5: Meakashi Chapter 6: Tsumihoroboshi Chapter 7: Minagoroshi Chapter 8: Matsuribayashi It is recommended that you read these chapters before starting the extra chapters. This is not because all extras take place after the main story (some do, others don't), but because they may reference later chapters, which could affect your experience. If you’ve read the first three chapters, you may have noticed that they are chronologically interchangeable. However, reading them out of order can significantly alter the experience since the sequence and way the mysteries are presented would change entirely. A similar issue occurs with some extra chapters, such as Taraimawashi or Tsukiotoshi. These can be read after Chapters 3 and 5, respectively. However, doing so would change the original experience, as there will be references or hints about events revealed in later chapters. Advanced Story Among the extra chapters, the following are part of what is called the Advanced Story: 1-Someutsushi 2-Kageboushi 3-Tokihogushi Connecting Fragments & Miotsukushi Ura Here things get more complex. Console versions introduced an alternate final chapter called Miotsukushi. This chapter was first introduced in the PS2 version, expanded in the DS version to include the ending of the Advanced Story, and later divided into two parts for the PS3 version: Miotsukushi Omote and Miotsukushi Ura. The Omote part refers to the main plot, while the Ura part connects to the Advanced Story. However, in the original version, events from Ura are interwoven with those of Omote. If you are following this playlist, this isn’t an issue since it is ordered with this in mind. Thus, there are two chapters of Omote, followed by three of Ura, and then three more of Omote. Console versions also added new Connecting Fragments. If you're unsure what these are, don’t worry, but check them out after reading Chapter 8. In this playlist, I placed the collection of new fragments before Miotsukushi Omote and recommend following this order. MIOTSUKUSHI VERSIONS Regarding Miotsukushi, at the end of the list, you'll see a chapter called Miotsukushi PS2. This is because the Omote and Ura versions feature notable minor differences. While 99% of the story is identical, a few details differ here and there. If you prefer this version or are determined to spot all those differences, it’s included at the end of the list. ALTERNATE EPISODES After the Omote and Ura epilogues, I’ve included two alternate episodes: 1-Taraimawashi 2-Tsukiotoshi These can be considered Chapters 3.5 and 6.5, as they offer alternate takes on the main chapters. UNIVERSE-EXPANDING CHAPTERS Next, we have a variety of chapters that expand Higurashi’s universe or story. These are generally standalone, except for Outbreak and Kamikashimashi, which are connected. If you follow the playlist order, you won’t encounter any issues. These chapters are: 1-Yoigoshi 2-Kotohogushi 3-Saikoroshi 4-Origin 5-Outbreak 6-Kamikashimashi Additionally, I’ve included Police Case Files after Yoigoshi because it references that chapter the most. It also references the first two Advanced Story chapters (Someutsushi and Kageboushi). COMEDY CHAPTERS Finally, we end the list with comedy chapters—more lighthearted episodes with a tendency toward fanservice. These include: 1-Hajisarashi 2Hirukowashi 3-Batsukoishi 4-Mehagashi And that’s everything! The list concludes with the previously mentioned Miotsukushi version. If you’ve already read Omote and Ura, it won’t add much new, but it’s included for those who wish to explore this option, particularly if you want to read it without the Advanced Story.
