Amiga 500 Longplay [200] Deja Vu II: Lost In Las Vegas

Played by: IRONCLAW Plot: "You are Ace Harding, the infamous ex-boxer and detective.Your most famous case is the Deja Vu case, where you were drugged so you forgot everything and woke up to find yourself framed for the murder of your ex-manager Siegel. Using your best skills, you managed to regain your memory and prove your innocence. But all is not as good as it seems... Siegel apparently had a few "buddies" in the mafia (no wonder he was killed). It appears he owed them a large sum of money and was going to give it to them, but was killed. Now the money's missing, and the mafia's mad. It's up to you to get the money for the mafia...or they'll kill you.You have a week to get the money. To make sure you don't do anything the mafia doesn't want you to, they sent a goon to watch over you. Better find the money fast!" Played the prequel with A500 speed - just to be safe, as gfx/sfx glitches happens easily to games if not using proper speeds, e.g.: A1200 usually causes a lot of problems for A500 games. Well, this time I ran it with A500/A1200 hybrid and it all went well for a while, until I had to turn on cycle-exact as the gfx that moved gets broken. No problem though as that can be toggled on and off as you please :), so there won't be any errors in this video (hopefully..., well, at one point the flashlight moves a few pixels in the inventory). Some credit goes to Shizo, as I mainly followed his 8 year old Amiga longplay of this game, but made a lot of improvements. Much more convenient to follow instead of a text-based walkthrough :) Just like with the prequel, I went lazy-mode on these 2 games, thus no compilation of the different ways to die at the end. Just one to show the game over thingy. Weird we can't see the text we type in the end on the certificate. Only a bit if I highlight the letters. Thought maybe it could have something to do with the prefs, as I played it from HD, but tried straight from floppy too and it was the same. I know I don't have to use examine, hit, go etc all the time before clicking something, I can just double click on most things and it selects the proper thingy for me, which I did it from time to time. - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
