Hong Kong Phooey (C64) - A Playguide and Review - by Lemon64.com
Hi-Tec bought the licences, and several small teams produced these Hanna-Barbera games. Lets take a look at this one. Production Notes: Ripped: 4th Feb 2014 Edited: 19th, 21-22nd Jan 2016 As I say in the review, I used to just complete this for fun. After a while, the player gets used to romping around at high speed, and the game can be triumphed in 10 mins. There is no frustration (unlike other games), and the player dont need infinite lives, or a sheet load of instructions to understand ir. I can name many platformers on the Amiga which weren't this much fun. Its dive in action. On the downside, touching an enemy will seriously harm you, and thats the only reason I died here. I could have practiced and showed the game complete, but the weird tough-point of the enemies was good to show. Being quite busy at the moment, I've put the Power Drift review on the back burner to concentrate on the small 10min reviews I wanted for this season.
