Video Game Archives - Hiragana Pixel Party

Video Game Archives is a series where I record footage of games that are potentially subject to be lost/forgotten over time (focus on digital only/"limited time" games, unless I decide "I just really want to play and record _______" for fun). Hiragana Pixel Party is a simple rhythm game with a retro 8-16 bit feel that is meant to help the player memorize the Japanese alphabet. Levels involve matching various hiragana/katakana (to English characters, or by sound) to a chip-tune soundtrack. Making too many mistakes can cause you to forfeit playing/end the level earlier, however better performance gradually opens up more levels. For more info on Hiragana Pixel Party:
