"Его превосходительство" - Марш Мастер и Маргарита "His Excellency"" AV2017 (March #4)
Коту Бегемоту посвящается... А тут еще кот выскочил к рампе и вдруг рявкнул на весь театр человеческим голосом: - Сеанс окончен! Маэстро! Урежьте марш!! Ополоумевший дирижер, не отдавая себе отчета в том, что делает, взмахнул палочкой, и оркестр не заиграл, и даже не грянул, и даже не хватил, а именно, по омерзительному выражению кота, урезал какой-то невероятный, ни на что не похожий по развязности своей, марш. Его превосходительство Любил домашних птиц И брал под покровительство Хорошеньких девиц... А здесь позволю себе добавить ещё одно четверостишье. Немного пошловатое, но!...Думаю так бы и продолжались приключения “его превосходительства” в стиле проделок Фагота и Бегемота, учитывая всю котовасию которая происходит в романе "Мастер и Маргарита" Его превосходительство С девицами кутил И вот, за попустительство Презентик подхватил.. “Here the cat bounded up to the footlights and announced in a human voice : 'That concludes the evening! Maestro! Bang out the MARCH! “ … The dazed conductor, scarcely aware of what he was doing, waved his baton and the orchestra did not play, not even struck up but rather (just like the cat put it ) “banged out” somewhat unbelievable, unseeingly dirty and crudely humorous March. Here I would also include the translation of the verse since for some reason it is completely omitted in the English version of the novel: His well respected Excellence Cared for domesticated birds And exercised his elegance With young and pretty girls His well respected Excellence Was firm and very swift And due to all his recklessness Has caught a "special" gift.
