This is the longplay of R-Type 2, horizontal scrolling shooter arcade game developed and published by Irem in 1989. Like its predecessor, R-Type 2 was first released on Arcades and later ported to home consoles. The story takes place 2 years after the events of R-Type and R-Type Leo, in 2165. The Bydo Empire has returned more powerful than before. In this game, the player controls the spaceship R-9 Custom (abbreviated R-9C) and gained, in addition to new items, also another level of loading, resulting in a more powerful shot and with a larger attack area. It is a game that represented an evolution in relation to R-Type, in addition to the increased difficulty and more advanced graphics, it also has two endings (where you need to end the game in two loops).
