Grimoire: Heralds of the Winged Exemplar Complete Playthrough (Play 01) Character Creation

Grimoire is a spiritual successor to Wizardry 7 and it does a fantastic job at paying homage as well as being its own game. It was created over 20 years by some dood named Cleve. He released it in 2017 as early access, without a manual, and got involved in the culture war. He didn't start off very well for the amount of time he put on it. I was made aware of it, but I am vigorously against early access games. I hate them. I want something I can finish... that is finished. He also wanted something like $35 or $40 saying it would never be put on sale... this is outrageous of course. I had a fan, EyeBeat, who wanted me to play but I refused, it eventually went on sale and he donated it to me. So shoutout to him, and I used his handle for one of my characters. I still waited for well over a year for the manual to be complete and for the releases and fixes to wind down. The version I play today is, V2: 2.0.0.20. It runs for 10 dollars standard... much better. The manual is also out and so is a wiki to help you figure out what classes to pick, spells, and a puzzle hint walkthrough as well. When you start it up, you want to set your resolution to 1024x768 in the game. Turn off in game scaling, prolly turn off smooth 2.5 movement, its confusing. In this play I make my team of 8 and start the first area. The interface for inventory is not very intuitive, and its going to take me a while to grasp it. A guy dies to glow moths. Opps!
