Alfie Atkins and The Ghosts

Alfie Atkins was a Swedish cartoon series about the everyday adventures of a little boy, based on the books by Gunilla Bergström. In the UK it was originally broadcast in the mid-1980s by ITV in the lunchtime children's slot, and also later saw frequent repeats in the 1990's by Channel 4. In this episode (the only one I have in my collection), Alfie feels frightened when he is alone or in the dark, imagining that there are ghosts about the place. However, his dad teaches him a little rhyme to say that makes him realise that there are no such thing as ghosts and that there is nothing to be scared of.
