Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors [PS1] - play as Bonus in 1P Mode

This is a play-through using Bonus in 1P Mode in the PS1 version of Galaxy Fight: Universal Warriors. Read on below for more information... Bonus is the mid-boss of this game. He is an unlockable playable character in Vs Mode, but he cannot be used in the single player 1P Mode. ===== Additional Information ===== ---- As an unplayable character in 1P Mode, he is still able to successfully go through the entire game with no freezes. However, most of the time he freezes the game before the first match against Kazuma starts because of dialogue problems... but from time to time it doesn't happen. ---- Despite being an unplayable character in 1P Mode, he actually has an ending image with his moves list! ---- As Bonus is a playable character in this version of the game, he gets his own name said by the game's announcer voice when he wins or loses. ---- As Bonus is a playable character in this version of the game, he gets an own alternative colour palette. ---- He cannot block. ===== About Bonus Kun===== He's basically a punching bag that is designed to be a play on Ryu from Street Fighter. He's also in Waku Waku 7 as well. Gameplay-wise he is very limited with his basic moves, and having only one special move (which isn't that good either) makes this character a bit of a joke. He cannot even block either. ===== About PS1 Galaxy Fight ===== Overall this seems to be a good port of the original NeoGeo game because it most definitely feels like it... the gameplay, sounds and voices appear to be identical, but I'm not sure if all the animation frames are intact from the original game. Unfortunately the main problem with this version of the game is the character sprites when it's normally zoomed (i.e. not zoomed out) in-fight... they look completely distorted and pixelated, unlike the NeoGeo version where the characters look clear and sharp. This kind of puts a dampener on the game because the distorted sprites look terrible (to me at least). I wonder if this was due to the PS1's hardware limitations? The loading times cannot be avoided of course. On the upside, the game takes advantage of the PS1 hardware and gives players the choice to use the AST soundtrack.
