In the case of Saturn, GM plugged a tried, tested and true design into the line up, the Astra. With it being one of the most popular selling small hatchbacks over in Europe, GM figured it'd do just as good over here. Sadly that's not the case, and these little cars are as rare as hen's teeth here in the US now.
