Madden NFL 96 (SNES)

Man something about that SNES-ified Fox Sports theme just sends me way back. I could fire this one up just to listen to the menu. Once in game though I found it surprisingly quiet though. As I'm more used to 97/98 I expected more field noise from the players and commentary from John and Pat but this one was pretty barebones. I also couldn't really get the feel of offence down, I don't know how to describe it other than "slippery". I never really felt like I had solid control of what I was doing at any given moment. As evidenced by that late game safety. I totally pulled a Dan Orlovsky there. Still even as slippery as it was, I'm sure with time I could get used to it. Still very fun, especially using Steve Young like Lamar Jackson. #madden #nintendo #snes #nfl
