[iPhone / iPod Touch] Song Summoner: The Unsung Heroes Encore - Play! 4

Song Summoner Encore, an RPG for the iPhone and iPod Touch. After beating the original clickwheel version, I was looking forward to a sequel. Turns out to be both a reworked original and a sequel. Using a second generation iPod Touch, everything seems quick and snappy EXCEPT when the game needs to access the iPod music library (e.g., soldier creation & play points calculation). Creating soldiers is horrifyingly more time consuming. It may also crash once in a while scrolling through music. I assume due to better CPU and twice the RAM, the newer iPhone 3GS and iPod Touch 3G will obviously run better. As usual, scenes were clipped for time constraints & convenience (notice the clock). Don't expect this game to be this fast in practice. Creating one song trooper for me actually takes about a minute. It's annoying doing this over and over to get perfect troopers. The touch controls take a bit of getting used to on the battle screen which is why there's pinch zooming to make the characters bigger to touch and move. Taking a video of the iPod Touch did not turn out to be as elegant as I did with the iPod Video. Hands block the view for one thing. Damn camera light reflecting off the screen. I'll make another one later. Perhaps one with nothing but song trooper creation.
