Replacing one chess game with another seems easy. Replacing Battle Chess with a clone or its remaster would be even easier. James chooses not to do that, as there are a distinct number of differences between Battle Chess and Chessmaster. He feels this merits the latter's inclusion into this series as a worthy replacement for chess fans.
