It was released on May 2, 1990 in Japan and then in the United States and Canada in July. The main character Red Arremer (Firebrand in the US) made his debut in the video game series Ghosts'n Goblins. This is one of Capcom's underused game series... Firebrand is one of Capcom's badass characters and whilst the game was easy, Firebrand is the sole purpose for playing this, at least before Demon's Crest came along...
