Fighters' Impact A [Arcade] - play as Barazock

This is a playthrough using Leon Barazock in the Arcade game Fighters' Impact A. Read on below for more information... Barazock is the final boss, and he is an immediate playable character in this version of the game. NOTE: Continues were used in this playthrough. Unwanted losses are cut out to save time and keep the video file size to a minimum. ===== ABOUT BARAZOCK ===== Barazock is a blind fighter after having his eyesight taken by Bernhard. Since then he has developed a hatred for all martial artists, going as far as kidnapping and murdering their loved ones. His fighting style allows him to copy his opponent's moves as he gets hit by them. His fighting style is stated as Synthetic, and he has no sub-styles. ===== GAMEPLAY ===== He can actually copy his opponent's moves (only specific ones) as he gets hit by them, resulting in him being able to perform the move he just "stole". You will know this because there is the text "STOLE X" (X being a number) that appears under his lifebar when it's happened. Unfortunately it seems that only the CPU-controlled version of him can do this. In the 'A' upgrade of the game, some moves and combos were removed from his previously unplayable counterpart in the original version of the game. ===== OTHER INFORMATION / TRIVIA ===== ---- In Revision 'A' of the game, as he is now a playable character, he faces his own personal boss on the final stage. This personal boss is Bernhard in a special black costume which is a non-selectable costume for human players. ---- His Stage 4 mid-boss is Dr.WIZ; his Stage 8 penultimate boss is Raoul; and his Final Stage boss is Bernhard as described above. ---- He is somewhat similar in design concept to Zato-1 from Guilty Gear. This is more apparent in his portrait image in the upgraded Arcade and PS1 versions of the game. ---- He is named after Japanese lifestyle magazine, Barazoku. ===== ABOUT REVISION A ===== Revision 'A' is an upgrade of the original Arcade game... it is basically the 'Champion Edition' of Fighters' Impact. The most significant change is that all five bosses (including Dr.WIZ) are now made playable characters. Other changes include gameplay tweaks - such as the removal of the custom combo system; the ability to escape throws; a counter-attack mechanic; and the removal of the universal dash-back "backflip" and "cartwheel" movements (besides Faraha). There are also new colour palettes for the characters and stage backgrounds, and the lifebar health colour is now blue instead of green. ===== ABOUT FIGHTERS' IMPACT ===== Fighter's Impact is a somewhat slow-paced technical fighting game. It's gameplay is focused on tactics, making you think about your next move, stringing your own combos together and blocking correctly. On the lifebar, under the character's name, there is a light-up counter that lights up and extends the higher you string moves together - however as mentioned earlier, this mechanic was removed in Revision 'A' of the game. For most of the regular characters you get to choose between 3 fighting styles/modes for them, complete with a different costume for each style. Despite some martial art styles being shared (such as Karate), there are some minor differences between the different characters using the same fighting style. The bosses do not have any sub styles to choose from, instead most of them use enhanced versions of existing styles. Faraha is the only character to use her own unique fighting style. The game features an atmospheric relaxing soundtrack, which usually closely matches the ambiance of the stage you're on. This is also one of those fighting games where in single-player mode, certain soundtracks carry over (continue playing) for multiple matches.
