A playthrough of Capcom's 1991 platformer for the Nintendo Game Boy, Mickey's Dangerous Chase. I loved this game! It's good ol' Capcom, working their magic on the Game Boy - something that they did just as well as on the NES! Making things even better is that it was developed by Now Production who developed several classics for a multitude of publishers in the 8 and 16 bit days (they did Yo! Noid, Final Soldier, Jackie Chan's Action Kung Fu, Adventure Island II, along with a gazillion more), and this is easily one of those classics. It's cheery and lighthearted, has great music and graphics for an early GB title, and it stars Mickey! It's easily a match for (if not an improvement over) the NES's Mickey Mousecapade. It also allows you to play as Mickey or Minnie, which really makes no difference, but it's still a neat option. If I had to guess, I'd say that this might've begun life as a port of the NES Chip 'n Dale Rescue Rangers game considering how similar the gameplay is between the two. *Recorded in Retroarch using the DMG shader to mimic the look of the original Gameboy screen. _________ No cheats were used during the recording of this video.
