Rubies of Eventide custom server progress

This has been my on again off again hobby for a while now. I played rubies as a kid; I've always thought it should come back in some form or another. I'm not affiliated in any way with the owners of Rubies Of Eventide. I've written my own server from scratch and pointed the rubies client at it, no modifications to the client have been necessary so far. Bits that are working: Login server Game server character creation Loading created characters Server time, day/night cycle Inventory (partial) Loading into and transitioning between zones Opening/closing doors Showing NPCs and other players (partial, some things like hair colour/clothes do not always display correctly to other people) Showing other player movement (mostly correct, but for some reason jumping backwards displays as jumping forwards to other players) Not working: Chat (should be easy, but I haven't prioritised it) Anything relating to: combat (damage calculation, healing, hit chance, etc); mob spawns, loot tables, agro/attack logic; NPC locations, looks, quests, shops, trainers. All of this has to be done from scratch and to be honest I don't really remember enough to recreate all these details. If you have any information about NPCs or mobs that would definitely help
