Legend of the River King GBC - EXTRA! - Locations of ALL 6-Exclusive GBC fish! ~ & Fun Lake!

When LotRK was released for GBC, they added six more types of fish whose locations were not shown in the instruction manual. They were 'secret' fish you had to find for yourself. This meant that to unlock Fun Lake, you had to find 46 types of fish rather than just 40. Fun Lake is just a small lake with no random encounters where you can catch any type of fish previously encountered throughout the game. Enjoy! Exclusive fish: Blowfish, Goby, Black Seabream, Sea Bass, Halfbeak, Sand Flounder. === Legend of the River King claims to be a RPG/fishing hybrid, but let's be real: it's a fishing game. Punching animals in the face with a fist that randomly moves around isn't the deepest fighting system there is, and experience points only increase your HP. There are no levels. Besides that, you can buy fishing rods, lures, flies, different bait, and various tools. Then you go fishing. When you fish, you only get ambient sounds. Because you want to relax and chill. You need to bring different types of fish to different NPCs to make the story progress and eventually catch the River King at the end of the game. There are different fishing areas with different fish in them. It's pretty fun! The original Game Boy version had 40 different kinds of fish, but the updated GBC version added 6 more types, bringing the total up to 46. The locations of the new types of fish are not listed like the others in the instruction manual. Overall, it's a pretty simple game that can be quite relaxing but also frustrating if you don't know what to do or how to catch certain fish, so using a guide is recommended. As far as I can tell, this special GBC version was never released in Japan. However, the Japan-exclusive GBA remake may contain the extra stuff from the GBC version, I'm not sure.
