-April 23, 1978 telecast of the USAC Trenton 200 race on ABC Sports from Trenton Speedway in New Jersey. Trenton was a mainstay of the Indy Car circuit from the late 1950s to 1979. The speedway closed the next year and was demolished in 1983. -This is from the last full season when the United States Auto Club (USAC) had sole control over Indy Car racing (known as "Champ" cars back then). The following year, the sport would be fractured by the founding of CART.
