VEV: Viva Ex Vivo //VR Update (Direct Capture Preview)
A sample of VEV's 'Freshwater' stage running on playstation VR. Featuring a completely open, procedurally generated immersive microscopic environment. In addition to a full 360 degree VR interface, the game features numerous playability improvements based on user feedback: Particles are now attracted to your VEV in groups, removing the need for precise gathering; controller rumble provides a tactile signal that food is nearby; camera stability has been improved; Graphics have also been improved; the energy goal for each stage are now clearly indicated on your HUD (as your current total out of 1000 pj) ...with more improvements on the way! It should be noted that while the above video is 60fps, the actual game is running at 90 fps on a stock playstation 4. And, as originally announced, this will be a free update for all owners of the game. (Please note: the capture is direct feed from the breakout box display output, and is running at a lower resolution and a lower FOV than the actual PSVR display.)
