I don't understand why I had to re-solve infinite stages from earlier sections to get the achievement, but it got the job done. I did run into problems with the infinite stages that have the pre-set, grey hexes. If the pre-set hexes made up a complete row then the puzzle would not solve and I had to pull a new one by either exiting the stage and going back in or by doing a reset.
