Eggs of Steel Introduction - Playstation

Original Air Date: May 14th, 2009 Eggs of Steel, or "Eggs of Steel: Charlie's Eggcellent Adventure" (Hello Charlie!! in Japan) is... one of the strangest U.S. Playstation titles we own, aside from the very quirky titles like Incredible Crisis, Mr. Domino, etc. The game was originally a "Blockbuster Exclusive" but was later removed from that list and normal copies were released. We somehow found a complete Blockbuster copy a LONG time ago (It might have been back in New York or during a trip to Maryland, I don't remember). While both versions are hard to find, it's said the Blockbuster version is much rarer, especially in decent condition (people rented this game). Of all the companies out there that could take interest in a game like this, leave it to Atlus to publish the game and Enix to actually help. I think this game is very mediocre, but there is one element to this game that helps it stand out juuuust a bit. The game is overrun with quirky cartoony cutscenes. You have cutscenes traveling from many locations and loads of different cutscenes for when you die, which is the best part (and it will happen often, trust me). It actually feels (just slightly) like all the peril Charlie encounters feels believable as there is always a constant focus on his near-death experiences. It's also pretty original. Other than that, I got nothin. You can see what the game plays like in the game sample. - ADDITION - Like Us On Facebook:   / thegamingsanctuary   Follow Us On Twitter:   / gs_vyse_and_bel   Visit Us At:
