"Prime Trax Vol. 01 Omnibus", 2001. Japan Blue formed in 1996. Although they formed in 1996, it wasn't until 1999 that they started releasing some demos, and did so until 2000. In February of 2001, Japan Blue released its first mini-album "暫定-Zantei-", which had mediocre sales, and the group went on to appear on the "Prime Trax Vol. 01" omnibus in July of 2001. The group went on to tour throughout the remainder of 2001 and 2002, but eventually wound up splitting by early 2003. The only member of Japan Blue to remain active in the underground music scene was frontman Noritomo Mitsushima (光嶋ノリトモ), who rejoined his original group The Bold, which split a second time in 2005. He then started his own solo career, which was active until 2011. Noritomo has then presumably retired from the underground music scene in general.
