Super Munchers: The Challenge Continues (DOS)

Super Munchers: The Challenge Continues is a 1991 DOS game by edutainment legend MECC. Rather than teaching educational concepts such as math or grammar like the other Munchers games do, Super Munchers teaches kids trivia questions about animals, music, geography, and other assorted topics. Players control the "Muncher" who eats words that fit into a given category. In this version, eating enough correct answers turns the Muncher into Super Muncher, giving him the power to kill the evil Troggles. A puzzle minigame appears every three levels that advances the story as the Muncher takes down the evil Dr. Frankentroggle. I managed to get almost the entire way through this one, but the controls for the fourth puzzle are incredibly cumbersome. And who'd think that was a 3? A higher-quality Mac OS version was also released. Apart from presentation, it's identical in nearly every way, including that impossible minigame.
