PC Longplay [272] Brink of Consciousness: Lonely Hearts Murders (Collectors Edition) (Part 1 of 2)
Played by: Geekmeister Get the Game bit.ly/VmYNyF Main Game: A Serial Killer is on the Loose in Victorian England, A serial killer whose victims are all invariably part of the Upper Class (How atrocious! Those poor upperclass people), the killer is indiscriminate and kills both men and women, the only common factor aside from being born into the upper class, is that they have all suffered a broken heart! The killer kidnaps them, holds them for 30 days, and then kills them, removes their heart and places a yellow Lotus there instead. Now Your daughter who recently went through a bad brake is missing, and you must assist the police in finding the killer and your daughter! Yes, yes I know that Dorian Gray Syndrome came out before this game, but I think the bonus chapter in this game ties the two games together so nicely, that I decided to upload this one first. Enjoy This is a truly Great Hidden object game, the puzzles are maybe a bit too easy, but the story is good, and so is the voice acting, (We want more talking protagonists am I right? Sure I am). The story follows the main protagonist, and his friend the Police Detective investigating the disappearance of the protagonist's daughter (I don't remember his name right now ok?!). They suspect she has been kidnapped by the "Lonely Hearts Murderer", a Serial killer that kidnaps and kills those whose hearts have been broken. During the investigation you meet several suspects, and arrest some of them (Someone even suspects you, and tries to kill you!) Before you find out who the real killer is, and go to his mansion to arrest him, only to have the distraught father of one of his victims kill him before you can arrest him! The ending is a bit of a Cliffhanger, but if you get the Collectors Edition, you will be able to find out what the old lady at the ending cinematic is talking about... - Disclaimer: Most videos by World of Longplays use SaveStates!
