Intro & gameplay longplay, playthrough, walkthrough & trueplay of the PS3 version of Wicked Monsters Blast! HD. An arcade mini-game lightgun shooter in the style of games like Point Blank and Mighty Hits. In this modern era this type of games is very uncommon, while Wicked Monsters Blast! may be aimed at a younger audience. The mini-games on offer here are largely very well put together and enjoyable to play. Quite a few of them will really test your shooting skills, with others testing reactions and memory. There are four different player characters to begin with, but more can be unlocked. Each character has their own rather amusing story and ending. On top of extra characters you can unlock additional modes as you clear arcade mode and playthrough all the different mini-games. Arcade mode itself sees you battle it out to clear 8 mini-games, each games has a set score you must clear else you lose a life. The final game is a battle with the current boss of the "Wicked" organization! What's most striking about Wicked Monsters Blast! is the 2D artwork with it's bright and bold visual look that gives ever character a unique colourful feel. While a couple of the games are a bit mixed like the bland bubble pooping one, most are very enjoyable, shooting up the unicorns bar is just so funny and the deer bank robbery takes us back to games like Lethal Enforcers. Wicked Monsters Blast! HD supports the PlayStation Move and is a great additional to the Move Library. Overall this HD port of the original Wii game is hugely fun to play and while it's not the longest or hardest game out it's a great title in short bursts. Wicked Monsters Blast! HD Plus was released on the Nintendo Wii U as a digital game also.
