I've noticed that there aren't too many RtK videos on youtube, and after giving it some thought, i decided to record whenever i happen play and upload the recordings as a series of " playtrough " videos. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Some things worth noting:::::::::::::::::::::::::::: This is not a guide. There are plenty of walktrough's / guides around the internet, so as long as you can handle a bit of googling it shouldn't be much of an obstacle. Secondly, it's been long since i've played the game last time, and naturally i don't expect to remember everything there is to it. This is simply me, playing the game, as i see fit. However, if you have questions related to the game, ask away and i will try answering them. :::::::::::::::::Fixes to few problems you may run into::::::::::::::::: Using fraps may cause the interface to disappear. To prevent this, hide the benchmark "overlay" from fraps. "An error has been detected which prevents the game from continuing" This has given me a headache for so many times that i've lost the count already. Fix: The text in RtK may be blurry and unreadable. While it will not completely fix this problem, a workaround exists. (note: i used the original rtk font in the few first videos) Workaround: Navigate yourself to windows's fonts folder (usually c:\windows\fonts) Choose a clear font (arial, verdana, tahoma etc) and copy it. Now, navigate your way to the RtK folder (default location: C:\Sierra\RtK) Look for a TrueType font named "krondor", and rename it to something else (incase you ever wish to revert the changes. The name doesn't matter, i used krondor_old) Now paste the Verdana font (or whichever font you chose) that we copied from the fonts folder, into the RtK folder, and rename it to "krondor.ttf" Now start the game. If everything went fine, you should notice the changes when the "Loading" screen unfolds. While this fix is not perfect, it helps a bit. ::::::::::::::::::::::::::::Other information:::::::::::::::::::::::::::: Game: Return to Krondor Developer: PyroTechnix Publisher: Sierra (1998) Genre: Role-playing Recorded with: Fraps
